Advanced Sender Domain is a feature from KIRIM.EMAIL that makes your email broadcast enables you to send with attributes of your domain. You can use this feature when you want to delete KIRIM.EMAIL’s branding on the sender part.

This is how the sender section default format looks like when you still using the standard: hasbi@krm.email lewat kirim.email or jumini@indomail.xyz via kirim.email.

With the Advanced Sender Domain feature, you can delete that part so that only your email address appears like this :

Follow these steps to set up Advanced Sender Domain. :

Add Domain

  1. Open KIRIM.EMAIL application page and log in with your username and password.
  2. After logging on to the dashboard page, look to the top right corner then click on the small triangle next to your name. After that select Account Settings.

  1. Now you are on the Account Settings page. On this page, you can click on the Email Sender menu then click on the Manage Domain Sender.
  1. To add a new domain, click on the Add Domain. Enter your domain and click on the Submit button. After that, a Success pop-up appears then click on the OK button. Your domain has successfully added.

Pointing DKIM & SPF Record at DNS Manager

After successfully added the domain, the next step is pointing DKIM and SPF Record at your DNS Manager. Open your DNS Manager and input these records there:

DKIM RECORD

  • Type : CNAME
  • Name : kirimemail._domainkey or kirimemail._domainkey.{yourdomain}
Note : There are several DNS Managers that are enough to fill with kirimemail._domainkey only. There are also those that must be complete with the domain: kirimemail._domainkey.{yourdomain}. So choose one and adjust it with your DNS Manager.
  • Value : dkim.kirim.email
  • TTL : 1200.

SPF RECORD

  • Type : TXT
  • Name : @ or blank
  • Value : ‘v=spf1 a mx include:spf.kirim.email ~all’ (without quotes).
  • TTL : 1200
If your DNS Manager already has an SPF record, you can combine the SPF Value on the record.
So you don’t need to create a new record. Instead, edit an existing one.
For merging, input the “include: SPF.kirim.email” section in the existing record.

Here are the examples:

  • Old SPF Record Value : v=spf1 +a +mx include:spf.kerjamail.co ~all
  • New SPF Record Value : v=spf1 +a +mx include:spf.kerjamail.co include:spf.kirim.email ~all

You can see the conditions in the box entitled How To Authentication Domain.

This is how it looks like after you input the record in the DNS Manager is as follows :

Verification

After the pointing process, please back to the KIRIM.EMAIL application and click on the Verify button on the Action column. Then click on the OK on the Domain Verification pop-up.

If your pointing successes, a successful notification will appear and your DKIM and SPF status will be valid.

However, if the pointing is failed, the notification pop-up will appear like this:

If you experience something like this, please check your writing about DKIM and SPF Record again whether it is correct or not.

If it is correct but an error notification still appears, you can check it at https://www.mail-tester.com/spf-dkim-check. Input your domain and DKIM selector there.

Then please wait a maximum of 24 hours then repeat the verification process.

If there is still an error, you can contact us via chat or email at support@kirim.email

About Domain Propagation

In the previous section, We mentioned the term propagation.

Propagation is the time it takes to transfer a domain to a new owner.

Typically, the length of domain propagation is between 24 and 48 hours.

This is because the process requires all servers on the web to update information about newly registered domains. In addition, domain propagation is also commonly called DNS propagation (Domain Name Server).

Because the process requires the entire DNS on the web to update your domain information.

Finish.
