How to Use the Automation Features

Creating Email Automation

To create automation, please follow these steps:

  1. Log in to the aplikasi.kirim.email page.
  2. Click the Automation menu.
  3. Click the Add New button.



  4. You are now on the Create New Automation page. Write the name of your automation email in the Automation Name field.
  5. Change the email automation status from Draft to Running.
  6. Click the Define Your Trigger button.



  7. Choose a Trigger according to your needs. There are 5 options that you can choose from, including:
    • Open broadcast.
    • Click broadcast.
    • Open autoresponder.
    • Click autoresponder.
    • Subscribe in list.
      For example, in this guide, we chose the Open Broadcast option.
  8. Click the Save button to save the trigger.



  9. Click the ” + ” button to add the next step.




    The result is as in the following image:



  10. Choose 1 of the 3 available steps, which include:
    • Trigger is a trigger to the next step. If you select a trigger step, the conditions for this trigger and the previous trigger must be met for the Automations feature to run.
    • Response is a response that will be done after the subscriber meets the first trigger. Or if you use two triggers, both must be met for the response to work.
      In this response step, there will be 5 types of responses that you can choose from, including:
      • Move to Selected List. This option serves to move your subscribers from one particular list to another of your choosing.
      • Copy to Selected List. This option serves to copy your subscribers from one particular list to another of your choosing.
      • Delete from Selected List. This option serves to remove your subscribers from a list if the conditions / triggers you specify are met.
      • Send Email. This option serves to send an email like an autoresponder if it meets the trigger you specify.
      • Add Tag. This option is to tag emails in your list, which you can later use for broadcast using the Tag segment.
    • Decision is a conditional decision according to the behavior of your customers / subscribers. If the conditions are met and not met,  what is their response?
  11. Make settings from the step you have selected or add another step.
  12. If so, click the Save button in the upper right corner.



  13. Click the OK button on the success notification.
  14. Finished. Now your email automation has been successfully added.

Editing Automation

To edit automation, please follow these steps:

  1. Log in to the aplikasi.kirim.email page.
  2. Click the Automation menu.
  3. Select one of the automations you want to edit and click the Edit button in the Action column.



  4. Edit your automation.
  5. Click the Save button to save your changes.



  6. Click the OK button on the success notification.
  7. Finished. Now your automation has been successfully edited.

Deleting Automation

To delete automation, please follow these steps:

  1. Log in to the aplikasi.kirim.email page.
  2. Click the Automation menu.
  3. Select the automation you want to delete and then click the Delete button in the Action column.



  4. Click the OK button on the success notification.
  5. Finished. Now your automation has been deleted.
