What is Zombie Email Removal (ZER)? <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Zombie email is email that is neither dead nor alive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dead emails will immediately be marked bounce by email marketing services such as KIRIM.EMAIL. Indicates that indeed we can no longer send email to an address.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile Zombie Email Removal is a feature of KIRIM.EMAIL which functions to delete zombie emails that are hiding in your email database (list).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to Use Zombie Email Removal (ZER) <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Automatic<\/strong> way<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

ZER automatically performs its duties at the beginning of each month. Therefore, to active and use it, you don\u2019t need to do anything. All you need to do is to monitor the result of the report. .<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Manual<\/strong> Way<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
  1. Log in to aplikasi.KIRIM.EMAIL with your username and password.<\/li>
  2. Click the\u00a0List\u00a0<\/strong>menu. <\/li>
  3. Click\u00a0Inactive Subscribers<\/strong> tab.<\/li>
  4. Click\u00a0<\/em>the\u00a0Remove Inactive Subscribers\u00a0<\/em>button<\/strong>.

  5. Click the\u00a0Yes\u00a0button<\/strong> in the following pop-up.<\/strong>

  6. Wait for the process. It depends on how many subscribers you have. The more subscriber you have, the more time it will take. <\/li>

    To export the data of zombie email, please do the following instructions :<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. Login to aplikasi.kirim.email page. <\/li>
    2. Click List menu > Inactive Subcribers tab. <\/li>
    3. Select the month you want to export the data to. Then, click the\u00a0EXPORT<\/strong>\u00a0button in the Action column.

      1. Log in to aplikasi.kirim.email.<\/li>
      2. Click the\u00a0Lists<\/strong>\u00a0menu > Inactive Subscribers.<\/li>
      3. Select the month you want to export the data to. And then, click the\u00a0DETAIL\u00a0button in the Action column.

        The Configuration Email Zombie (ZER) Duration<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

        Zombie Email Remover works automatically every month. However, you can specify the criteria for zombie emails to be deleted by the system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        The criteria are as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        1. An email that has been inactive for the past 1 month.<\/li>
        2. An email that has been inactive for the past 2 months.<\/li>
        3. An email that has been inactive for the past 3 months.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

          This inactive email is the email that has no interaction with the KIRIM.EMAIL system. The interactions here are like open, click, confirm the form, submit the form, and so on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          To do this setting, please follow the steps below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          1. Log in to the aplikasi.kirim.email page.<\/li>
          2. Click the Account Settings menu.<\/li>
          3. On the User Configuration page, click the Other Settings tab.<\/li>
          4. In the Automatic ZER Period field, select one of the eight available options.<\/li>
          5. Click the Save button.
