Email autoresponders and email broadcasts are the most widely used features in email marketing. With an email autoresponder, you can send email serials automatically.

Usually, this autoresponder email is used to greet new subscribers after they fill out the form. So that every time there is a new subscriber, you don’t have to send an email manually.

Creating an Email Autoresponder

To create an autoresponder email, please follow these steps:

  1. Log in to the KIRIM.EMAIL application page.
  2. Click the Autoresponders menu.
  3. Click the Create new autoresponder button on the Manage Autoresponders page.

  4. Write the title of the autoresponder email in the Autoresponder title field.
  5. Click draft email in the email sequence column.
  6. Change the Draft to Published in the Status field.
  7. Determine the sending time delay between one email and the previous email by specifying a value in the Delay sending by field and selecting the Day(s) or Hour(s) option in the Unit field.
For example, if you specify a value of 3 Days, it means that the email will be sent 3 days after the previous email was sent.
For this first autoresponder email, we recommend filling it with 0 Day. Then, for the next email, it’s up to you.
  8. Change the subject in the Email Subject field.
  9. Write the contents of your email or message in the Email Content field. In writing this email, there are many features that can help you, such as:
    • Click the Email Builder button to send a beautiful HTML email.
    • Click the Custom Field button to create a personalized email.
    • Click the Image button to add an image.
    • Click the Markdown button to use Markdown format.
    • and so forth.
  10. Click the Send Preview button to see the final result of your autoresponder email.
  11. Click the Add Email button if you want to add an email sequence.

Repeat steps 2-10 above to manage other draft email sequences.
  12. Continue by clicking the Settings tab.
  13. Change the STOP to RUNNING option in the Autoresponder status field to run the autoresponder email. On the other hand, if you want to stop the autoresponder, change its status to STOP.
  14. SWITCH ON the Track Open and Track Click fields to enable tracking.
  15. Select the email address that you will use as the email sender.
  16. Send to an existing recipient in the list. This section serves to send an autoresponder email to an email address that was already on the list you selected before this autoresponder was created. For instance:
    • On January 1, 2021, there were 100 subscribers on the list that you created.
    • On February 1, 2021, you decide to create a new autoresponder.
    • So that subscribers who enter after February 1, 2021, will automatically receive your autoresponder email.
    • Meanwhile, subscribers who enter between January 1 and January 31, 2021, should not receive your autoresponder email.
    • However, by activating the Send to an existing recipient in this list, subscribers who enter before February 1, 2021 can also receive this autoresponder email that you created.
  17. Select the list that will receive the autoresponder email in the Select list field.
  18. Click the SAVE ALL button to save.

  19. Click the OK button on the success notification. Now your autoresponder email has been successfully saved.
