On this page, you will find information regarding how to use the Viral Form feature of KIRIM.EMAIL. But before that, let’s get to know what Viral Form is and what it does.

Definition and function

Viral Form is the newest feature of KIRIM.EMAIL which makes it easier for you to get more leads through viral campaigns.

With the Viral Form, applicants will be advised to share the form link in order to get bonuses/prizes that they can get after meeting certain conditions.

Currently, there are two terms and conditions available on the Viral Form, which include:

  1. The number of referrals that the second registrant brings is the top Waitlist, which references the first few registrants in your form.
  2. Viral Form also provides a share button that makes it easy for registrants to share links to their social media and email.

How to Create a Viral Form

To make this Viral Form, you can follow the steps below:

# 1 Creating a New Form

  • Go to the KIRIM.EMAIL Application page
  • Click the Integrations/Extension menu
  • Click Viral Form

  • On the Viral Campaign Form page, click the New Campaign button to create a new form. Or if you’ve created a Viral Form before, you can edit it by clicking the Edit menu in the Action column.

# 2 Define Campaign Details

You will have to provide the details of your campaign page. Here you are asked to provide information related to your viral campaign.

There are several fields that you need to fill in, including:

  • Your Campaign Name: Fill in the name of your campaign.
    Type of viral campaign: Please select the type of viral campaign you want.
    In this section there are 2 types of viral campaigns that you can choose from, including:

Referral Count: If you choose this type, then registrants who have recommended your form and managed to reach the target you set, they will get an automatic email containing the bonus or prize that you promised in this campaign.

Example: If the registrant manages to bring in 3 new registrants via the link, then the registrant will get an email containing the bonuses and prizes that have been promised.

Top Waitlist: If you choose this type, only the first few registrants will get an email containing bonuses and prizes.
Example: In campaign x you will give a special bonus for the first 10 registrants only, for the 11th registrant, and so on, they will not get the bonus email. In this tutorial, we will choose the type of referral count with the condition that 3 people register from the registrant’s referral link.

  • Target Condition: Fill in your target that must be achieved by referrals.
  • List: Select a list where you will save incoming contacts from this viral form.

When finished, please click the Next button to continue to the next process.

# 3 Setting the Viral Form Campaign deadline

You will go to Customize the screen page that will be displayed after your campaign has ended.

On this page you are asked to specify:

  • when will your viral campaign ends
  • what message appears when the campaign has ended.

After that, please click the Next button to continue to the next stage.

# 4 Form Settings and Thank you Page

On this page, you are asked to set up a form and thank you page when the registrant has entered his email address.

In this section, there are 2 tabs that we need to pay attention to, which are the ‘Before Participation’ tab and the ‘After Participation’ tab.

The Before Participation tab

First, we will make arrangements in the ‘Before Participation’ section, please follow the steps below:

  • Title: In the first column in the image, please enter the form title for your campaign.
  • Description: It is in the second column in the image. In this section, you can enter a form description starting from the campaign description or the image from the campaign.
  • Button Submit Label: It is in the third column. In this tutorial, I use Register Now.
  • Input Fields: You can add or remove fields that must be filled in by prospective registrants. However, in this form, the email column is displayed by default and cannot be deleted.

After all the settings are correct, please click next to continue to the After Participation tab.

In this section, you will set the page after the registrant has filled out the form.

  • Title: It is in the first column of the image, please enter a title from this page.
  • Button Label: It is in the second column in the image. This button will direct the registrant to a page that contains an invitation to share the referral link to get the bonus/prize you promised.

Click Next to continue to the next stage.

# 5 Confirmation Email Settings

Next, you will go to the Email Confirmation page.

On this page, you will create a confirmation email for each registrant from this Viral Form.

Please follow the steps here:

  • Email Sender: In the first column, please select the email sender that will be the sender of this confirmation email.
  • Email subject: Please enter a confirmation email subject in the second column.
  • Message: In the third column, Enter a message that contains a link for the registrant to click to confirm the email address.

Please click Next to proceed to the next stage, namely Inviting & Sharing settings.

# 6 Inviting & Sharing Settings

Next, you will go to the Customize the screen page where people will invite their friends.

On this page, we will make arrangements for the inviting and sharing page to make it easier for registrants to suggest your Viral Form through social media and also email. Please follow the steps below.

  • Title: In the first column, please specify the title of this inviting & sharing page.
  • Sub-title: In the second column, you can enter a sub-title or an invitation for the registrant to share your link form.
  • Registrant position in the campaign: In the third column, you can provide a title for the registrant position section for this campaign.
  • Table: The table serves to inform registrants about who has registered via their referral link. Please click the next button to the table writing to activate this feature.
  • Share Button: In this section, there are options for share buttons that you can add. Among others: Facebook share button, Twitter, WhatsApp, Email, and copy-paste referral link button. After the button is activated, a new column will appear below to enter a special message that will be added to the share button.

After you finish the settings, please click Next.

# 7 Autoresponder Settings

Boost your campaign page using Autoresponders at the Autoresponder stage. The autoresponder here is divided into 2 tabs:

  • Participant Reach Target: This autoresponder will be sent only to registrants who have met the target you set at the start of the campaign creation.
  • Rest of the participants: This autoresponder will be sent to registrants who have not met the target you set at the start of the campaign creation.

Next, create an autoresponder for targeted registrants. Please follow the steps below:

  1. Email Sender: In the first column, please select the email sender for this autoresponder email.
  2. Email subject: Please enter an autoresponder email subject in the second column.
  3. Message: In the right column, contains an email that you can use to send the bonus or gift that you promised earlier.

Please click Next to continue creating an autoresponder for registrants who have not been able to meet the target.

Rest of the Participants’ tab

On the Rest of the participant’s tab, you will create an autoresponder email for registrants who have not yet met the predetermined target. Please follow the steps here.

  • Email Sender: In the first column, please select the email sender for this autoresponder email.
  • Email subject: Please enter an autoresponder email subject in the second column.
  • Message: In the right column, contains an email that you can use to send the bonus or gift that you promised earlier.
  • Need more tags? : You can also use a special tag in your email,  just click on the tag you want and paste it in the autoresponder.

Click next to continue to the last step.

# 8 Review and Publish

On this page, you can review the entire Viral Form creation process and publish it. If all the settings are appropriate and correct, please click the Publish button.

# 9 Share and Install the Form on the Website

After the Viral Form has been published, you will get a form link to share as shown below. You can click the Copy the code button to retrieve your form link.

However, you can also put the form into the page on your website. To do so, you only need to retrieve the embed code by clicking the Embed Code tab above.

Please copy the embed code and paste it on your website page.
