How to Access Web Copy

What is webcopy?

Web copy is an email display that can be opened via a browser.

In other words, every email you’ve ever sent, can be accessed, opened and carried by others in the browser via a link.

How to Automatically Attach Web Copy in Your Email Footer

Basically, the web copy appears automatically in the footer of any email broadcast or autoresponder email you send.

However, since the default setting for web copy is not active, then web copy does not appear before you activate it.

To activate web copy automatically in your email footer, please follow these steps:

1. Log in to the aplikasi.kirim.email page.
2. Click User Menu > Account Settings.
3. Click the Other Settings tab.
4. In the Webcopy field, select the Active option to activate web copy automatically in your email footer.
5. Click the Save button.
   
   
   
   
6. Click the OK button on the success notification.
7. Finished.

If you do not want to display a web copy in your email footer, please select the Not Active option in the Web Copy field and then click the Save button.

Attach Web Copy On Broadcast Email Manually

You can also attach a web copy to the broadcast email you want to send. For how please follow these steps:

1. Create a new broadcast.
2. On the New Broadcast > Content page, click the Custom Field button.
   
   
   
   
3. In the Subscriber Field pop up select Webcopy, then click the OK button.
   
   
   
   
4. The result is as in the following figure.
   
   
   
   
5. You can change the default Webcopy text with click the Source button.
6. Then replace the Webcopy text before the </a> tag with your own text. For example: “View this email in Your browser.” Then click the Source button again.
   
   
   
   
7. The result is as in the following figure.
   
   
   
   
8. Done.

Attach Web Copy To Email Builder

You can also attach a webcopy to the email builder. For how to please follow these steps.

1. On the New Broadcast > Content page, click the Email Builder button.
   
   
   
   
2. In the email builder editor, select Text Widget then drag it to the editor section.
   
   
   
   
3. Click the existing text and then it pops up the formatting bar. On this formating bar click the Merge Tags option > Campaign Spesific > Webcopy.
   
   
   
   
4. The result as shown below:
   
   
   
   
5. Done.

How to Access Web Copy Through Broadcast

In this tutorial you will learn about how to access webcopy from the broadcast email you have sent.

For how please follow these steps:

1. Login to the aplikasi.kirim.email page.
2. Click the Broadcasts menu.
3. Select one of the broadcast emails you have sent. In the Action column select the Detail option.
   
   
   
4. Then you will enter on the Campaign Report page. On this page click the Message tab.
5. Then in the HTML Version section, select the Web Copy tab.
   
   
   
   
6. After that it will pop up a popup as in the following image. You can enter an email address (optional) or click the Open button right away.
   
   
   
   
7. Then the Web Copy version and URL of the broadcast email you have sent appear in the new tab.
   
   
   
   
8. Done.
